Dear Brother Knights,
My sincere congratulations to all of you as we celebrate with joy our third anniversary as Council 13881 of the Knights of Columbus. I wish to thank our Grand Knight Rey Nacino for his leadership and guidance. The Knights of Columbus have manifested a pride in our parish community in a willingness to serve in tasks that are large and small.
Each Knight has lived and witness to his faith by serving our church community. Keep up the good work. Every action is a sign of how Christ is present within our faith community of St. Kevin.
Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, on the 29th of June declared this year delegated to St. Paul the Apostle. As St. Paul evangelized, so too, we are called to evangelize. St. Paul says in 1Corinthians 9:16: “Woe to me if I do not preach the Gospel”. Pope John Paul II reminded us that Catholic faith only grows when we consciously and conscientiously share it with others.
May the Spirit of Jesus live in your hearts and that of your families.
